I am excited to teach fifth grade and to be part of the continued growth of Northeast Ohio Classical Academy. My teaching experience spans 29 years in the public school system, where I taught science, social studies, math, and language arts. I look forward to supporting the growth and development of our fifth-grade students, helping to shape good citizens, and fostering a deep respect for our country and for one another.
I grew up in Brecksville, where I wrestled and played baseball. I have a wonderful wife and daughter, both of whom work at NEOCA. I also have a son who is a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
I am an active parishioner at St. Bernadette’s Church, where I participate in the Lenten fish fry and volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. I serve with the Knights of Columbus and am a former Boy Scout leader with Troop 225 in Westlake. I also serve on the Board of Directors for the Yocum African American History Association (YAAHA), where I wrote the introduction to a new book titled Chronicles of Heroes: Black Contributions to America.
I enjoy guiding the growth of our fifth-grade students, supported by the strong partnership we have with NEOCA parents. Our students thrive in a safe, engaging environment rooted in a classical liberal arts education that emphasizes reading, our ten virtues, and the development of good citizenship.
I look forward to working closely with both parents and students.
