Mr. Altman is excited to teach fifth grade and serve as Co-Dean of Students. His teaching experience spans 29 years in the public school system teaching science, social studies, math, and language arts. Mr. Altman feels great to be a part of the growth and development of fifth graders, to help develop good citizens, and to foster a healthy respect for our country and each other.

Mr. Altman grew up in Brecksville where he wrestled and played baseball, and still plays baseball in a men’s hardball league.  He has a wonderful wife, a grown son, and a daughter.

Mr. Altman is a parishioner at St. Bernadette’s where he and his wife teach PSR. He serves with the Knights of Columbus and is a former Boy Scout leader with Troop 225 in Westlake. He is on the Board of Directors with the Yocum African American History Association (YAAHA) where he’s written the introduction to a new book called Chronicles of Heroes: Black Contributions to America.

Mr. Altman looks forward to working with parents and students, having fun, and making NEOCA the best school for the children in our community.
