Born and raised in Cleveland Heights, Dr. Carrol returns to Northeast Ohio as NEOCA’s Assistant Head of School, bringing two decades of educational leadership experience spanning K-12 and higher education. With a passion for classical education and a desire to make it an option for all families, Dr. Carrol is dedicated to fostering a vibrant, rigorous academic community that inspires students to embrace wisdom, virtue, and the beauty and richness of classical learning. Her academic background and professional experience have equipped her with a deep understanding of teaching, learning, and leadership in the liberal arts tradition. She has served in a variety of academic and administrative capacities including, most recently, as the director of enrollment at a K-12 classical school. Additionally, in her role as associate professor and teacher educator at Lenoir-Rhyne University, Dr. Carrol taught and mentored both primary- and secondary-level pre-service teachers.

Watching vibrant sunsets with her children, creating and enjoying charcuterie spreads, reading memoirs, and making meaningful memories with friends and family members are some of Dr. Carrol’s favorite pastimes.  She is excited to join NEOCA’s inaugural team and looks forward to engaging with colleagues, students, and parents.
