Maranda Anders – PTO President
My name is Maranda Anders and I’m excited to introduce myself as your elected NEOCA PTO President for this school year!
I have been actively involved with our PTO since NEOCA’s inaugural year, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to now serve our school community as PTO President. Being part of the PTO from the beginning has given me the chance to see our community grow, meet so many wonderful families and faculty members, and experience firsthand what can happen when parents, teachers, and staff come together to support our students and our school.
I’m also a very proud mom of two. My son, Ryan, is heading into 7th grade and starting his third year at NEOCA, while my daughter, Ava, will be joining the NEOCA family this year as an incoming Kindergartner. I’m excited to experience this school year with both of them and to be even more involved in the community they get to be a part of.
One of my biggest goals as PTO President is to grow our Parent Teacher Organization community. I want more of our families to feel connected, informed, welcomed, and encouraged to get involved. A strong PTO is about so much more than planning events or volunteering. It is about building relationships between our families, teachers, faculty, and staff and creating a stronger sense of community around our students.
I also know that involvement looks different for every family. We all have busy lives, different schedules, and different amounts of time we are able to give. Whether you can volunteer at an event, attend a meeting, share an idea, lend a hand from home, or simply help us spread the word, it all matters. My hope is that we can create a PTO where everyone feels like there is a place for them to be involved.
I’m also excited to serve alongside our Vice President and Secretary this year. Together, we are looking forward to connecting with our families, supporting our school, and continuing to grow our PTO community. I’m grateful to have such a great team by my side, and I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together!
