Jenna Snyder brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for growth to her role as our art teacher. She has two years of professional experience teaching K–8 art at a private school, along with six years of leading summer art camp programs for elementary-aged students. For the past two years, she has led and taught a unique VBS art camp at a church in St. Louis.
Jenna believes that teaching art is a powerful way to teach life. She encourages her students with the reminder that “practice makes progress, not perfection.” We have the continual capacity to grow if we never stop seeking truth. She entrusts her students with freedoms that are developmentally appropriate while upholding a philosophy of “reaping what we sow.” By speaking truthfully and kindly to ourselves and others, Jenna believes we can exponentially increase our skills, character, and joy.
