Emma McCann

Second Grade Teacher

  • Bachelor of Science, Early Childhood Education (University of Akron)

Ms. McCann was raised in Akron, Ohio but she was adopted from China when she was a 1-year-old. She spent five years of experience substituting in various public schools’ systems, trying to find the best fit for her first year of teaching. She really enjoyed building relationships within each and every student in the diverse school districts. However, it inspired her and prepared her to have her own classroom so she can share her compassion, patience and be a role model for her students. Ms. McCann is excited to start her career as a Classical Academy Teacher and be part of a new and passionate school community. In her free time, she loves playing with her dog named Biscuit, hiking, and swimming during hot summer months.
