Mrs. Bruno is proud to be a founding teacher at NEOCA, having lived in 8 states across the country. She got her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Northern Arizona University before teaching high school and community college in College Station, TX, home of the Texas Aggies. She was a technical editor, instructor, and stay-at-home mom for 10 years. As a classical homeschooler, she’s taught elementary grades PK-4 and participated in co-ops in South Dakota and Ohio.  She has been a Girl Scout troop co-leader and volunteer. A true busy body who loves working with her hands, Mrs. Bruno can often be found baking sourdough in the kitchen or digging in the garden. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and her pets, Sundance the guinea pig and Oliver the Treeing Walker Coonhound.
