Robert E. (Bob) Anthony, BS, MS, MBA – President
Bob has over 45 years of senior-level management and business “startup” experience in the medical industry. As an entrepreneur, his real-life skills, knowledge, and expertise are utilized to coordinate, manage, and launch NEOCA.
Steve Hyatt, MDiv, PhD – Member
Dr Hyatt has worked in various non-profit and teaching roles, teaching grades 7-12 and undergraduate and graduate levels. Having lived in the People’s Republic of China for seven years, he is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and maintains a teaching license in Mandarin in the state of Ohio.
Judge Julie A. Schafer, Esq. – Member
Judge Schafer is a prior business owner and lawyer. Having served on the Copley-Fairlawn City School Board for fourteen years and service with the Ohio School Boards Association, she brings broad oversight experience to NEOCA. Her knowledge and skill in serving the public through our state’s justice system are being utilized to help direct NEOCA’s legal affairs and assist the school in navigating and adhering to government regulations and requirements.
Jennifer Stiles, PhD – Member
Jennifer is a classically trained historian with a deep admiration for, and understanding of, Classical curriculum. As a professional teacher with 20+ years of experience, a community volunteer, and parent, Jennifer is committed to helping NEOCA nurture an understanding and application of classical curriculum within the school, while also helping students and families meaningfully connect to our collective intellectual and cultural heritage.
Thomas Waltermire – Member
Tom is the former CEO of PolyOne (now named Avient), a global NEOhio-based polymer company. Following that, he also served for nine years as CEO of Team NEO, the economic development promoter for the Cleveland-Akron-Canton region. Now retired, Tom is an active angel investor, assisting many local start-up companies. Along with business boards, Tom serves on several non-profit boards, including the Cleveland Orchestra, IdeaStream Public Media, Cleveland Zoological Society, Business Volunteers Unlimited, Greater Akron YMCA and the Cleveland Institute of Art. He is former board member of the University of Akron and Baldwin Wallace University. Tom has a B.S. from The Ohio State
University and earned his MBA from Harvard University. Tom now lives in the Portage Lakes area.
